Because (บีคอซ)
As จะต้องวางไว้หน้าประโยคหลัก (Main Sentence)
Because ไม่นิยมวางไว้หน้าประโยคแรก
As he was sick he couldn’t
= He couldn’t work because he was sick.
= Being sick he couldn’t work.
เพราะเขาป่วย เขาไม่สามารถทำงานได้
ผิด : Because she was the eldest she looked after others.
ถูก : She looked after other because she was the earliest.
เธอต้องเลี้ยงดูคนอื่น เพราะเธอเป็นคนหัวปี
ผิด : Because he walks slow he leaves behind.
ถูก : As he walks slow, he leaves behind
ถูก : Since he walks slow, he leaves behind.
เพราะเขาเดินช้า เขาจึงตกอยู่ข้างหลัง
